Important Rules: Biometric Verification & Attempt Limits for SBI PO Exam
When applying for SBI PO Exam, candidates need to be aware of two important rules which is Biometric Verification and Maximum Number of Attempts. These rules should be strictly followed during the recruitment process, so it is important to understand them clearly. Below we have given it in detail:
Biometric Verification
At all stages including Prelims, Mains, and Interview, the bank may capture biometric data such as thumb impression or IRIS scan. Candidates must ensure that the biometric data matches at each stage. Avoid applying henna, ink, or chemicals on fingers. Mismatch or misrepresentation may lead to cancellation of candidature and legal consequences.
Number of Attempts
Importantly, only Main exam attempts are counted; consequently, Preliminary attempts do not count. Since April 18, 2010, attempts have been tracked. Therefore, candidates who have already exhausted all their permitted attempts are no longer eligible to apply.
