✅ Eligibility
- Must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board (CBSE/ISC/state boards/NIOS).
- No upper age limit for CUET.
- Specific subject or minimum marks criteria for courses are set by individual universities (e.g., DU, Central Universities).
📝 Application Process
- Go to the official CUET portal: exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/.
- Register (create account), upload photo/signature, select subjects & exam cities.
- Pay the fee online.
- Take a printout of your submitted form for records.
Application fee depends on subjects chosen and category.
🧠 Exam Pattern & Subjects
- Mode: Computer-based (CBT).
- Duration per subject: ~60 minutes each (and multiple shifts).
- Languages (choose ≤2)
- Domain subjects (based on Class 12 syllabus)
- General Aptitude/Reasoning (varies by subject list)
- Total marks & negative marking: Usually +5 for correct, −1 for wrong answers.
This year, authorities streamlined the number of available subjects, and candidates can choose up to around five subjects.
